Training, Qualifications & Experience
I began my counselling training in the year 2000.
I studied Person Centred theory and practice and obtained my certificate in 2002. In the same year, I was trained in bereavement support and around that time, I also purchased my Student membership with the BACP.
In 2003, I began my volunteering work in a bereavement setting.
In 2005, I earned my (Level 3) Diploma in Counselling following an introduction to a broad spectrum of theoretical approaches and primarily, Psychodynamic theory and skills for two years part-time.
I have maintained my membership with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, have since upgraded to Individual member (MBACP) and abide by their codes of ethics.
I am a CCC Registered Counsellor for Counselling and abide by their codes of ethics.
I maintain both personal and professional development.
I am currently engaged in further theoretical study and workshops, dedicated to Counselling, and Psychotherapy.
My work and study in Mental Health and associated areas of Counselling , Psychotherapy, personal and professional development, reinforces my commitment to deeper understanding, qualifications and continual dedication in the helping profession.
